Midlife is a time of growth and change for many women. Relationships, responsibilities, and roles may be shifting at the same time that physical and emotional challenges arise. While there is great potential for fulfillment and learning in times of flux, the impact on one’s sense of self, self-confidence, and identity can feel pretty destabilizing. I love to help my clients see themselves and their circumstances with clarity and compassion, and my training as a clinical psychologist has provided me with a range of approaches to help you move through life changes with confidence. I have a strong background in cognitive behavioral therapy for a variety of issues that may arise in midlife (e.g., anxiety, depression, insomnia, hot flashes, and chronic pain). I also bring a strong focus on self-compassion, to help you care for yourself and thrive in the midst of change.
